Zojirushi BBCX20

The Zojirushi BBCX20 is the most advanced machine on the market, with features that make it basic and easy or flexible and powerful for the expert bread maker. It has an easy to use and well-placed control panel.

breadmaker The domed lid helps to prevent high-rising breads from sticking. The viewing screen helps you to see what is going on inside the machine. This is a great feature if you want to do something special between cycles. It is also fun to show the kids or grandkids what the machine is doing and then explain why.

The dual paddles can be a great advantage in that they seem to do a better job of mixing the dough than a single paddle does (even though single paddle machines do a fair job of this). It is also beneficial when cooking special breads that require thorough mixing.

The BBCX20 has lots of cycles including: basic, quick basic, basic wheat, quick wheat, dough, quick dough, jam, cake, sandwich, and homemade. The crust color can also be set for most of the cycles. The choices are light, medium, and dark. Amazingly enough, this breadmachine will also make meatloaf!

For expert bread makers the machine has programmable functions, you can enter your own times and cycles. This is a big plus for anyone who has specialized recipes. It also has a quick dough cycle that will make dough in 45 minutes as opposed to the 1 hour and 20 minutes that it takes on some machines.

The horizontal, traditional style loaf is also nice to have and makes better presentation at mealtime than the square or very-tall loaves produced by the vertical pans.

All in all, the Zojirushi is highly recommended by BreadInfo.com. It can be purchased through Amazon for just under $200.00. Quite a bargain for a machine that delivers a high quality loaf of bread, piping hot, whenever you want it.
