How to Make Cinnamon Bread: Video Recipe
aking cinnamon bread can be easy when using dough from a bread machine. Begin by powdering a section of countertop with flour. Break the dough in half to make two smaller loaves. Melt about 4 tablespoons butter, and grease two small bread pans. dust the top of a loaf with flour and roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness. Spread on butter. Use the bottom of a spoon if the butter is too hot. Sprinkle on about 1/3 cup of sugar. This will look like a lot, but if you want a bit of the traditional "gooeyness" of cinnamon bread this will be just enough. Sprinkle on a heavy dose of cinnamon. Allow the bread to rise for about 45 minutes, or until it doubles. Place in a 375° F oven for 23 minutes. When bread is done let cool on a baking rack for at least one half hour to cool. If you try to cut it too soon, it will crush the bread.
